Can Bob pack my bags and baggage?

We understand that you want to protect your baggage to make it fly safer, however, we currently do not offer packing services either during pick-up or once we are at the airport. This helps make the collection and billing process faster and more efficient. In addition, our carriers are not authorized to handle your baggage under any circumstances.

However, you can deliver your baggage to us already packed, just remember to weigh it to ensure that you do not have to readjust your baggage during pick-up.

Do I need to label my bags?

Your bags do not need to be tagged as during pick-up our agent will tag and scan them with our application in order to identify them and associate them to the corresponding passenger. However, having your bags with an identification tag will facilitate the incidents that may occur during your trip (not only if you have booked our services).

Most bags already come with a label on which you simply write your data. You can also purchase custom labels or create your own. Remember that this will help you to ensure that your bag is always identifiable.

Do I need any additional documentation?

Depending on the origin and destination of your flight, as well as the nationality of the passport you are using to travel and your age, you will need additional documentation to check your baggage.

This additional documentation includes visas, residence permits, documentation related to health risks, contact forms, etc. When we check your baggage, the check-in agent will ask us for all these documents, so it is especially important that you get them to us in time so that we can verify them before you are picked up.

Can several packages be picked up in a single order?

Yes, provided that the following circumstances are met:

  • When the address, date, and time of collection and delivery of such packages coincide.
  • When all packages and passengers travel on the same flight.

Packaging according to type of goods

Packaging must comply with airline requirements.

  • The bags must be in good condition and you can use another type of packaging to protect them, such as plasticizing them.
  • The sports equipment must be in its respective packaging. In the case of bicycles, they must be packed in boxes.
  • Baby seats should ideally be bagged to ensure that all parts are protected.
  • Boxes must be in good condition, with sufficient tape to ensure that they do not open during shipment and flight.

The airline does not allow me to check in online, what should I do?

To take advantage of Bob’s service, it is essential to check in online at the time of baggage pick-up.

If for any reason, the airline does not allow you to check in online or request your presence at the check-in counter, we will not be able to provide the service.

We provide a full refund for cancellations made up to 2 hours before the start of the pick-up time slot. If a reservation is cancelled less than 2 hours before the start of your collection window, the service will not be refunded.

I am traveling with special baggage, can you check it in for me?

No problem. We can transport and check in any kind of luggage as long as it complies with the rules of the airline you are traveling with and you have included it during the online check-in process (ski equipment, golf equipment, bicycles…).

Just leave us a comment in the baggage selection step of the booking process indicating the characteristics of the special baggage so that the agent can be prepared.

In addition, you must send us proof of payment for the sports equipment clearly showing what type of equipment it is.
