If you are thinking of booking the Bob Travel service but don’t know if you can take certain products in your bags, here’s what you need to know.
Remember that we have already talked about the 3 types of bags that exist today:
- Tote bag or personal item
- Carry-on (or cabin) baggage
- Checked baggage (or hold baggage)

✅ What you can send
In Bob Travel’s service, our agents will check your luggage on your flight. This means that you can send anything that is allowed by the airline. Airlines share rules about what you can and cannot send. If you want to be sure, it is best to check with them.
⛔ Prohibited items
Keep in mind that the baggage we collect will be checked into your flight, therefore the prohibited items are all those established by the airline you fly with. Although the airlines’ list of prohibited items is usually standardized in compliance with airport security measures, it is important to check with your own airline. Here you can see the most common prohibited items:
- Flammable and explosive substances.
- Guns and other weapons.
- Dangerous objects
- Chemical and toxic substances.
- Lithium batteries outside of electronic devices.
- Electronic cigarette.
Remember that during Bob’s booking process, you will need to agree that you are not carrying any prohibited items in your luggage and your service may be canceled or declined if we identify that you are carrying prohibited items, as you would be in breach of our terms and conditions.
